Markets in the Red phase: reinforced measures for your security

Following the announcement made by Dr. Jennifer Russell Chief Medical Officer of Health on January 19th, we would like to reassure all our dear customers:

The Dieppe Market is an essential service and all the vendors that you’re used to find on Fridays and Saturdays will continue to operate.

Protecting your health, as well as that of our team and our vendors has always been our priority since the reopening of the market in June 2020 and we always made sure to exceed the health requirements of the Health Services and the New-Brunswick government in order to facilitate any transition in anticipation of a possible regression from one phase to another.

The security measures used every market day, which you can consult at any time on our website, will therefore not change and will simply be reinforced!

The only new measure? The Dieppe Market team took time to install signs indicating the vendors available according to the direction of movement and markings on the ground in order to facilitate movement and reduce unnecessary back and forth!

For those who would like to avoid the higher traffic on Saturdays, the Friday Night Express Market (4 p.m. to 6 p.m.) is another option available to customers. A smaller selection of vendors is present there and therefore fewer customers come.

Finally, we would like to remind the most hesitant of our customers wishing to focus exclusively on contactless payments and deliveries during the red phase that a large selection of products at the Dieppe Market are available online every week at the Virtual Market on Sunday 8 a.m. until Wednesday 5 p.m. The pick-ups are on Fridays in the early afternoon at the drive-thru service.

It is now the time for all of us to do our part to reduce the risk of the virus spreading in this red phase. For more information, please visit the New Brunswick Government website.

Stay safe!
